3 Thing I Accomplished this Week:

1: I finished a rough draft of my paper which included my completed thesis and results, as well as my completed GIS Maps.

2: I completed my main GIS maps and made sure that they conveyed my information in a clear and readable way.

3: I completed a rough draft of my presentation where I was able to present my ideas and research.

3 Things I Struggled with this Week:

1: I struggled to make my presentation concise in regards to the slide text and images, and I struggled to present the information in a clear way.

2: I need to create another GIS map in order to give more context to my GIS map and my thesis as a whole.

3: I struggled to integrate my GIS maps into my papers in a way that maintains the flow of the paper.

3 Things I Learned this Week:

1: I learned how to make an AI chatbot and feed it with textual data in order to ask it more intellectual questions about the sources.

2: I learned how to apply for research conventions with my work, and how to properly present my research at a conference.

3: I learned how to publish my papers in academic journals, and how to look for journals that will be more likely to publish my works.

My Next Steps for my Research:

The next step of my research is that I need to polish and finalize both my paper and presentation for the end of the REU.
